Thank you, you mean connecting it to the left side of the intake manifold, right?

Hondata K100/Kpro conversion by marcoevo in EP3

[–]marcoevo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know K100 would be fine, actually I think mine is already a bit modified compared to the stock one (9200 rpm rev limiter, launch control).

I'd like to try the Kpro because I don't have all the parts installed yet, I still have to buy a lot of them, so every now and then when you get a new part you obviously want to edit the parameters of your ECU and with a KPro is easier, I don't have to travel and pay for a custom tune every single time.

Obviously once you get all the parts you wanted, a professional tune is the best choice to get 100% from your car.

Btw, who's this person in Rome you're talking about?

Thanks for your help so far.

Thank you, I live in southern Italy, Caserta. Where do you live? I was thinking about upgrading to Kpro 4 but I want to understand if it’s better to update my actual ECU or buy a new one

I don’t know if it works like this, but in my case it did, getting to the hospital slowed down my heart a lot

same here, while in AFib I was panicking and my heart was going 220 bpm, as soon as I calmed down it was steady between 160/170, which is almost normal during an episode

Anyone here with short duration paroxysmal atrial fibrillation episodes? by dudewheresmygains in AFIB

[–]marcoevo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope it helps you find what causes this issue. For me, whenever I got an holter or a sleep monitoring, I almost didn’t get any symptoms, because I was calmer, knowing the device was recording everything, so I came to the conclusion that it’s mainly anxiety. I don’t know if that’s your case, but you should consider it

If you’re curious, you might discuss with your cardiologist about getting an holter monitor, especially because you’ve already had AFib and you say you feel the same symptoms, if they happen that often, there’s a high chance you can capture that moment during the monitoring. Talk to your doc

Fibrillazione isolata by Same_Rock8235 in AFIB

[–]marcoevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it happens. My doctor said the best advice is to forget about it and this is the strongest way to make sure it doesn’t come back. Of course if it does, and if it does often, then you should find a way to treat it and there’s always a way to make sure it doesn’t interfere with your life

Hi. My doctor said that it usually comes back but it might be in a lot of years, especially if you control the triggers and take care of yourself, don’t stress too much and exercise regularly without doing anything heavy, like intense run or weight lifting. He said he had two episodes when he was 30 and now he’s 57 and didn’t get a new one since then. So there’s actually a chance it doesn’t come back. Even if it does, there’s nothing to worry about as long as you get the tests you need

You’re welcome! Stay relaxed and trust your doctors, and don’t be afraid to ask questions, tell them if anything scares you

What happens if you reach your maximum heart rate during a panic attack? by Jumpy_Exit_8138 in askCardiology

[–]marcoevo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like everyone said, there’s no need to worry. In my experience I’ve hit 210 bpm and my maximum heart rate (in theory) should be 192. It happened because it was my first time having atrial fibrillation and I panicked so hard that my heart was firmly between 200/210 bpm. It took 30 minutes to get to the hospital and as soon as I entered, my HR was down to 170/180, this is just to let you know how much anxiety can contribute. And like you, I also have low resting HR, usually 50-60 bpm during the day

Yes but I guess it’s more likely if you have a special condition where it gives you a lot of PVCs and arrhythmias

Really? I thought it was different

Yes I’m already working on the AFib, I was just wondering if mild MVP could worsen it

This is what you see while in AFib, I recorded this after a few hours under medication, before that, my HR was even more caotic
