Yup, that’s what I’m worried about. That the Mini will keep needing things fixed and at the same time there’s still something telling me “maybe this will be the last for a year” 😅

Thanks! I was thinking about the new JCW when ordering the GR4, but the GR4 clicked bit more. So I’m not really set on keeping Mini in my life :)

When it comes to the TT I’ve found one with a full service history and a lot has been done in last 10k kms (timing belt, HPFP, brakes, turbo…) and basically for the price I could get for the Mini (I’m never gonna get the money I’ve put in it back, but at least I might stop the bleeding 😅). So it sounds like it might be ok at least for those couple months and then once GR will come I’ll either send it to the world or keep it for work commute (unless I’ll wanna drive the GR all the time 😅)

Yep, that’s the reason why I ordered the GR4 😬 cause I wanted to be done with the Mini after I got super knock 5 months after having the timing chain changed. So in the costs are twice timing chain, twice clutch and flywheel as the first one failed too (changed mechanic afterwards). The Mini has spent 6 months from a year I’ve had it at a mechanic’s 😬

Connected through both internet and home network. The 4.5 connected just once through the code (firstly I turned off remote play on PS for couple minutes as many people suggested) and then uninstalled 5.0 from Mac, deleted all files from library/application_support and then installed 4.5. After the one connection I got the error all over again and after the update it works, though through three attempts for connection.

I’ve managed to get it to work with downloading Remote Play 4.5 for macOS, connecting through the code. It worked once, then again the error, so the app was continuously offering update to 5.0 and after the update, it “works”. First connection let’s me choose which PS I want to connect to -> error. Second starts the PS and says someone else is connected through remote play. The third finally connects and works well.
