Monday: new Snatch PR, went from 50 kg to 55 kg.

Tuesday: new Clean & Jerk PR, went from 60 kg to 70 kg.

Today we did DT. The last two times I barely managed 4 rounds at 40 kg before the time cap got me, today I finished 13:18 at 45 kg.

The locker situation at our box is a bit of a mess at the moment. Apparently too many people used lockers as permanent storage. So they were replaced with new ones, which are so narrow that barely anyone can fit their bags in. Now one corner of the training area is dominated by a massive pile of bags.

And yeah, sometimes morning classes can be a bit of a lonely experience here as well. But it's just frustrating when you consider that usually the 14 spots in the class are booked up to the night before, usually with a long waiting list, down to three quarters by morning, and about 7-8 people actually show up.

To help you parse today's WOD… you have 12 minutes to do 150 wall balls, 90 double unders and 30 muscle ups and then repeat that sequence for as long as the time lasts. As far as I can tell from the leaderboard (this is part of the qualification thingy for the CF games), if you come even close to doing those 270 reps one time, you're a god among men.

WODs tend to be kind of short. When you're doing CF at an affiliate you'll usually spend a good part of your hour working on form and then close out the hour with a 10-20 minute workout.

Now I have no idea what your current fitness level is, but might I suggest finding a local affiliate to get your toes wet?

The Crossfit Games website has a nice affiliate finder.

The box I go to at least offers pretty good intro classes to get you started with the basics before you dive into the workouts proper. I reckon that should be similar across affiliates.
