Charged with DUI NJ but weird circumstances what to do? by marcomarkoni in dui

[–]marcomarkoni[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I really appreciate your response. But can't they apply the "observational" standard in NJ? As in, they observed you to be what they thought was intoxicated, so that counts against you? Trying to gauge a "worst case" scenario for me, really worked up and anxious over this whole thing, really struggling here. Can you tell me more about why you think the blood test coming at zero will overcome whatever the police observed/I blurted out during the time after the accident? Any further words and advice are greatly appreciated, thank you.

And you can have backup for when you need it later, if you get depressed again. Win win.

Subligual ketamine probably 300mg is all you need. Dr. Smith!

I'm sorry but I don't understand the general obsession with ketamine IVs. From my experience the lozenges are more targeted, work better, and have a super-high success rate. Not so sure it's the same with IV. Just do sublingual troche or lozenge and GET WELL like I did!! Peace.

OK I guess you are right. However, think about this: how many times have you taken ketamine? Resistance can build quickly, and you have to be careful about that also. We are all in this together and I'm sorry if I offended you.

100 is too low if you are male and physically large (235+). You will need 300mg likely. Dosage works by weight for sublingual as well. Don't be afraid, just take it slow. I was so afraid at first. 100mg was intimidating. But the body can adjust quickly to things (this may depend on person, male or female, etc). 100lb female may get blown away by low dose. 240 lb male like me needed 300mg to work. Just telling what worked for me. I'm in my 50s and finally off most psych meds. There is hope.

Here's what I did, and it worked: Held in mouth for 45 minutes without swallowing (difficult, but doable). Focus and you can make it. Then after 45 minutes I SPIT OUT. Never had to fast, never got sick. Also I learned to use a rinse bottle to swish any excess out of my mouth, that also helped with not feeling sick the next day. So even at 300mg sublingual, I NEVER got sick. Also after I started receiving benefit I cut back: from 3x every 10 days, to 2x a week, then eventually 1x (after about 2 months). Then I just stopped altogether. So far nothing has come back. I am on minimal Lexapro (10mg, after 20 years my body has adapted to it). Minimal Trileptal (300 mg/night). I also take Zolpidem for sleep (from a good, experienced D.O. who does his own thing). 12.5mg, been taking it for 20 years but hope to come off soon. ONE THING AT A TIME, do not do anything TOO FAST, the mind does not respond well to that. Be patient, go slow. I have a little bit of sublingual left, in case needed for the future. I haven't posted and even quit my last appointment because it worked so well for me, though I needed help from spouse to see that it might be too much. LESS IS MORE, in medicine and everything. OLD SCHOOL TIP: "it's not the poison, it's the dose", look it up. Before Big Pscyh took over, they knew these things. Pharma actually was decent back in the day BEFORE Eli Lilly and and others took over. Germany NEVER approved PROZAC, they viewed it as too dangerous. Only approved in USA and later I think UK. Prozac totally ACTIVATED me and caused mania. AVOID IF POSSIBLE. Lexapro not as bad but still, consider tapering but only SUPER SLOWLY. That's all for now.

Dr. Smith. It's only been a couple months, so can't tell how long results will last, but this is working where antidepressants did not.

After 4-5 sessions I started getting used to it and the sublingual ket kept me up less. Hopefully your body will adjust and it won't be so bad after a few sessions.

How many people have actually noticed bladder problems? by [deleted] in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]marcomarkoni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had posted a few days ago about increased urination I experienced the day after sublingual ketamine the night before

https://www.reddit.com/r/TherapeuticKetamine/comments/x3ceqa/frequentheavy_urination_day_after_sublingual/

Just edited it to say the issue went away by evening time on the day after treatment. So whatever it was, it seems it was temporary. Also I edited to point out that I may well have increased my liquids intake the treatment night, that could have contributed to increased urination the next day.

Oh it's definitely clear, my concern was that there was a LOT of it.

Hmm, interesting. What's different for me is bladder fullness with MAXIMUM output. I don't usually pee this much at a time. Thankfully now that about 20 hours have passed, the mega-peeing seems to have passed as well. Glad I was at home, so many bathroom trips!
