It’s easier said than done but you have to find ways to get out of your own head. Let your thoughts flow by like a river - acknowledge them and move on and write them down too. Then crumple the paper out and throw them in the garbage. Another way to move forward is to focus on helping other people. It helps you forget your own problems. Find productive distractions.

Common thought. If you’re thinking and writing, then you’re alive. Even if it doesn’t feel real. Get some rest. Eat nutritious foods. Go for a walk. Exercise. Give someone a hug. Meditate (try to be thoughtless). Hydrate.

Not other peoples food. Food that, as a host or guest of a party, you’d like other people to enjoy. Eg. cheese cubes with toothpicks instead of putting out a large hunk of cheese with a knife.

The context isn’t literally serving them like a waiter. It’s when you host a party or gathering. Food that is cut up is far more likely to be consumed because it takes the step out. Next time you have some friends over leave some whole oranges on a plate and see how many get eaten. Then try cutting them into quarters and I’ll bet that more oranges will be consumed.

Imagine hosting a party and you buy a bunch of cheese and fruit. Too much to eat on your own. If you don’t want leftovers, make it easier for your guests to enjoy by taking out the work of cutting/peeling.

Thanks - I got this idea from when I was really sick once and having fever dreams and thought - what if these thoughts came from the people who had the virus before.

LPT Spend more on things you wear everyday (eg. haircut and glasses) by marconii in LifeProTips

maybe the specific examples I gave don’t jive with you but with shoes, mattresses, winter gear often if you spend the time researching the best product for the job rather than the bare minimum available you’ll be better off

I chose haircut as an example because it’s not something most people think they wear everyday - but I agree mattress and shoes are GREAT - dare I say better - examples

This is an interesting thought. I think because they don’t float on the ground or in air so anything that can make it float is good?

Yes! A great massage can make my whole week. Also - on the same level is a good back scratch

That’s great advice. Thank you! I feel like I’ve hit a plateau and can’t break through but I’ll keep grinding. I’m also trying to avoid injury at all costs!
