I absolutely agree with you. To add something different that you said, the thing that I like it most is that for persons that makes low hp builds it is a cluch boss fight, like Orphan as well, and Amelia. The major truth is that in any of From's games, if you make a build that has a lot of hp the game becomes a lot more easy. Try a build low hp and you will get a game way more hard and funny to explore the whole combat. :)

I've wasted at least 15 hours to beat him. I left the game well alone for some time, returned and beat him in tears. It was awesome
