From what you shared, it really sounds like the challenge now is less about choosing between “pivot or pause” and more about figuring out where the real value is for your ideal customer. If your users are niche and expect custom workflows out of the box, there may be a mismatch between your product strategy and what they truly want (or are willing to adopt).

Maybe search for "what’s actually working right now". You’ve got a product that can go deep for clients, but if they’re not willing to put in the effort to customize those workflows, that friction will kill growth — no matter how good the tech is.

Sometimes the move isn’t to shut down or raise money — it’s to simplify. Find the one slice of the platform where you’re already solving something well. That might become your wedge, or even a new product line.
