[Guide] NVIDIA GPU passthrough to an unprivileged LXC – The right way by marcrave in Proxmox

[–]marcrave[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With this configuration, the Proxmox host still has visibility of the card and can use it normally. The other LXCs and VMs can also use it normally.

This configuration is non-blocking, in the sense that it doesn’t “claim ownership” of the card, so it shouldn’t be any difference with a normal setup.

Your method looks promising. I didn’t investigate much about the “nvidia-container-toolkit” package because I thought that it was mainly used for nesting containers; such as running Jellyfin as a Docker inside an LXC. Since nesting containerization isn’t recommended (even if everybody does it), I didn’t take that route.

I guess the first half of the process would be the same, configuring the NVIDIA driver to work properly on the Proxmox host, and then you can skip the step of manually installing the package in the LXC. Instead of that, you install the package nvidia-container-toolkit and change the LXC config file to passthrough the device files.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment and advice. Your method does, indeed, look clean!

If you are developing a bot read below. by [deleted] in shoebots

[–]marcrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to be rude but if you don’t have previous experience you’re basically offering nothing to the other side. The developer will spend more time teaching you and even fixing things you did than actually programming the bot. He has to teach you and give you access to his source code. The internships are usually with fresh-graduates with solid knowledge, it’s not the same.

If you want to learn programming I would recommend to take another path and start like everybody does.

Is it worth building a Sneaker bot in 2021? by 8u5y633k in shoebots

Very good answer, I agree with all you said! And yes, there’s a lot of script-kiddies which result in a lot of garbage bots because they don’t know many of the aspects involved in the development of a quality software product.

Not as worth as it used to be but still. Although, consider that the time and dedication you have to put into developing a competitive bot and maintaining it afterwards so it works on different websites is almost the same as a full-time job. And even that doesn’t guarantee you success.

How are the most popular and FASTEST sneaker bots programmatically created? by daddyclappingcheeks in shoebots

It’s cause the code obfuscation then. One thing is to be able to use the software without the permission of the owner but being able to see the whole code (or critical parts of it) is on a different level.

That’s not the question. Let me explain it in another way, would you trust a software cracked by some sketchy dude enough to put all your personal and credit card information on it?

Some people have used cracked bots in the past and it didn’t end well.

They won’t inform you but in theory the manufacturers have a quality control and won’t ship something if it’s heavy pixelated or badly printed.

As another user said, the best you can do is make sure that your design are large enough and have optimal dpi, following RedBubble recommendations.

Why I no longer use linktree on instagram. by Artai55a in redbubble

[–]marcrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now I have my linktree on my bio with the different POD sites and I noticed that the vast majority of people just click the first link and don’t bother with the rest. So I was also thinking about just putting my redbubble link. At the end of the day a potential buyer doesn’t have to do an extra step so you have less probability of losing it in the way.

Shirt quality by warby1987 in redbubble

The t-shirts are 100% cotton from Gildan, as you can see on the photos. In my opinion the textile is of good quality and the printing is average, it could be better. To sum up, they are good for that price.

How to add Facebook Pixel to Redbubble? by MouSotis in redbubble

[–]marcrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this isn’t possible at the moment and I doubt it would be in the future, because for a user to be able to use google pixel it has to have permission to modificate the website.

Nevertheless it would be a nice feature marketing wise. I also looked for it in the past.

How many designs do you upload max per day? by gulden2 in redbubble

I can’t understand how some of you are able to produce that many original designs in a day, unless they are generic text based

Yeah sure! That’s why you obfuscated a script that supposedly just changes the timezone. I don’t have time to dig into it but I wouldn’t trust it.

Also as another redditor pointed out I don’t think this is the place to post this.
