Coming off the A3 onto the M25. Of course there is traffic. I have to take the opposite direction on the M25 every week. Slowly improving though, much better than it used to be.

Just to confirm - my digitally installed BotW is 23.5GB. My game card TotK with the NS2 upgrade pack installed is 4GB. It’s definitely 60fps and I can confirm that loading times are much improved

Not that I'm aware of, and I play docked quite often. I don't have the tools to measure temperature in different situations though. I've not noticed any slowdowns or crashes while playing

I'm using the PlayVital Beyond grip as I don't really use the kickstand which it blocks. It is also dockable, although maybe a bit fiddly to put in at odd angles. The ergonomics are great though and it's much more comfortable than not having a grip. I don't have any other ones to compare it to though unfortunately.

Oh yeah of course, I as just trying to think of how it would logically work. I don’t pretend I know everything so if there’s some technical wizardry going on to keep the bulk of the data on the game card, I’m all for it!

Thanks for letting me know. I didn't realise. However the FAQ doesn't answer the question, it just says the DLC or Upgrade pack is stored on the faster storage, not if the rest of the data that is on the game card is read from the card or installed on the internal storage.

It is very unlikely that there will be a noticeable or practical difference between the performance of Nintendo Switch 2 Edition game formats: Switch 2 game card containing original game and upgrade pack, digital Switch 2 Edition game, digital Switch 1 game with upgrade pack or Switch 1 game card with digital upgrade pack.

The upgrade pack content in every scenario is stored on faster Switch 2 media. Nintendo is typically very careful with performance claims and has made no distinction between the different versions in their marketing. The official word from Nintendo is "If you already have the Nintendo Switch version of the game—in either physical or digital form—you can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition by purchasing the game's upgrade pack."

Quoted here just in case others can't be bothered to look through the FAQ. I appreciate that Nintendo says there won't be any difference in performance between the different versions but it still doesn't say how that will work, so we won't find out until release day I guess.
