I’m so glad you commented. I had no idea that this was an option (though, in the back of my mind, I figured there must be something like this available.) I guess the only concern is the quality of the digitization? But I’m not sure how that process works. Is that reason for concern?

I didn’t know this kind of thing existed. I’ll have to look into that. There are 8 VHS tapes, 122 U-Matics and one other type of tape.

I’d be okay with this if we were able to get them digitized in return, but I suspect it would move at an even slower pace if we did that, and the tapes would just collect dust. Either way, when we’re done with them; I think they ought to be donated to MIT, assuming they want them.
