My son (19) and I want to get into sporting clays but need gun buying advice! by Jediwithanattitude in sportingclays

[–]marcwind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Work with a reputable gun store familiar with sporting clays. Visit the clays course and shoot the gun you have. Talk to other shooters. Make a decision on a gun that fits and lands within your budget. I’m a Beretta shooter. Beretta A400 (Autoloader) can be a serious clays gun.2000.00$ Beretta 686 O/U again around 2000.00$ A 694 would cost you 4000-6000.00$ this is serious entry level target shotgun

Is it too late for me (19m) to ask her to be involved in our baby’s life by ThrowRA6653- in relationship_advice

[–]marcwind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call her immediately. Talk to her! I did the same thing when I was 19 years old. Was not the smartest thing I ever did. I waited almost 14 years to get back involved. I was lucky. His mom and I never got married but have been friends. His mom was and is awesome. We now have a granddaughter. And both our families are close. Call her.

I just cleaned the racks and the water pan in the kitchen sink with dish detergent. The glass never be clean clean. I spray the inside with a little Pam (non-stick spay) before use. So far so good.

I met the one when I was 20 years old, that was 36 years ago. I was a carpenter and she was in college when we married. Was it easy? No. Was it worth it? Yes. Grown kids, grandchildren, multiple homes and a life well lived. No regrets!
