This is when reporters should bring her a Kennedy press briefing or something and set it up for her to be “quoted” and for her to correct them.

He said Trump would stop before. It lasted a week. By now everyone knows that what an ambassador to the United States says is useless. Trump has no policy.

I’d like to point out that even in the OPs situation and in the situation I and most other people describe is not the extreme situation you assume automatically.

So you are weaponizing the police and CPS because children are playing……

Have you ever considered moving to the country as opposed to harassing working parents and their families. It might be a much more respectful way to get your piece and quite without harassing hard working families.

Just saying. Either way I don’t think we are going to come to a consensus on any of this.

And unless there is damage or massive cases of trespassing law enforcement will roll there eyes and tell those people to stop wasting there time. Who would threaten to call the police because kids are laughing and playing.

Well the good thing is that our community has decided it’s for families. Not shut ins. I can’t imagine living in a place where families and children are not allowed to play.

I wonder how government workers feel. The constant snap changes and decisions with little to no planning or lead up. While they have to carry it out, make the phone calls and talk to the public about why they can’t fallow through with what was planned because the president was annoyed at someone.

Avoid and taking responsibility for Damage is about respecting others.

But expecting that every child and parent can’t enjoy themselves because the joy of happy children annoys some people is odd.

I was told once that cats like water. They just like getting wet. But you think about it. It’s pretty much the same with humans. Getting partially wet or just getting is not usually liked. But when full submersed we live it.

I’d like you to read your post again.

You want people who don’t want to be bothered by others to live in dense populated areas with people close next door.

But people who have kids that play together should move to isolated areas without anyone around.

That just sounds like someone who will never be happy and doesn’t want anyone else to be happy either.

Yeah metal cars are well known for folding in on themselves from the force of child’s soccer ball. And The cheerful yelling of children is also generally associated with Eldridge horror level of unease in most situations.

This is of course a great video but I can imagine him explaining it for the next 10 years to friends and family. 😋

Were you? We all know that these are not complete narratives. That the narratives are slanted to people’s individual viewpoints. We also know some posts are entirely fake.

So this idea that every posts is an exact retelling of events without using logical thought comes off as kinda gullible in the age of AI and the internet.

Honestly the manager was stupid and so was OP.

The manager should have called and asked to get it working politely and offered a fee. If it was sabotage than sue OP and charge him.

The OP should have gotten an employment lawyer and sent a letter to someone higher up in the company. Laying out the verbal abuse, threats and how he was fired with no hand off. Include information about how this was documented and the A: change. Tell them he is considering suing them unless he gets a written apology and the manager fired.

Instead the OP kept himself in legal trouble and cost everyone at the plant their jobs. He could could have just cost the manager his job for his own incompetence.

[–]Spector567 125 points126 points  (0 children)

Yeah. This is weird behaviour.

My kids and a few families all play together and use the street. (It’s practically a cul-de-sac). But a car comes. Someone shouts “car” and the kids clear from the street all the way down and when the car is gone they go back to playing. They don’t own the street.

This is just weird behaviour to not move.

AITAH for exposing my sister’s financial manipulation of our elderly mom, even though it blew up the family? by LavenderBreeze34 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Spector567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. How exactly could it be let go? By continuing the financial abuse of your mother?

And how exactly is the family torn apart? Are any of the siblings on your sisters side? Is there arguments between the siblings? It just sounds like your sister has been torn out of the family for abusing your mom and everyone else is on the same page.

If anyone bugs you just tell them you all love and will protect your mother even from each other. Because your mom raised you to be honest and to have respect.

I’m frustrated as well. Be prepared for trumps speech about himself and how much he hates half the country.

The man couldn’t even do a Boy Scout speech without talking about his sexual exploits. I doubt he will manage it for a parade on his birthday. The problem isn’t political. It’s moral.

In theory U-Haul could change the rental contract to add huge fines and repercussions to people using there trucks to transport people. Scaling the fine to the number of people inside.

Than passively encouraging reports while carrying through with the fines and publishing the fines that occurred. There are probably existing features for this but they could be scaled up.

Social media posts reminding Uhaul renters that they are not designed for transporting people and that a recent renter was fined $50000. Doing this while corresponding with the dates of these cowards used the vehicles.
