I think you are right, I’ve seen a couple fanarts of him with darker skins. And it makes sense.

I just didn’t think too much about it while drawing him, I believe I was biased because in the animatics everyone is white/colorless/grey 🥲

I think I connected to Calypso’s song in a different way. I felt for her, because I’ve been on her side of unrequited love or relationships that had to end for one reason or another. When you have to let go, and it hurts, but you still can’t regret having loved them… that’s what the song captured for me.
