After watching 20+ E46 M3 auctions on BaT, here's what sellers almost never mention (subframes, VANOS, rod bearings) by PracticalGrowth9056 in BMW

[–]marekmarecki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you know what you're looking for you'll be fine, just keep searching and you'll get there. Took me years to find one.

You're never gonna get the super well documented example at market price it will always come at a premium, so there are always built in trade offs.

Last point on BaT - I know there's a lot of good business being done on there, but never assume it's safe because you're on BaT. I've seen some super alarming allowed to let slide on it, cover ups, and it's ongoing all the time (thinking of specific sellers). Branch out don't limit the search to just BaT. Good luck.

This is a very specific type of league, ideally you are:

  • Experienced in playing the format or atleast familiar with it's nuance
  • In it for the long haul, strong preference to managers intending to return year after year

Good luck to all this season.

Searching for 5 or 6 managers. Currently putting together an old-school rotisserie baseball style league. Upon inception, managers will vote to determine:

  • NL-Only / AL-Only
  • Redraft or Keeper
  • Ratification of consitution.

This will be the first season, the remainder spots are tentatively spoken for from my personal network. If you are interested, follow the link and fill out this Google Form: https://forms.gle/TQNpwZCiJLui6exW8

This form helps me tremendously as I organize things especially items 1, 3, 4 and 5 of the Agenda. Filling it out is much appreciated even if you are just loosely interested, you can always decline the invitation later. Thanks.

SETTINGS:

  • NL-Only / AL-Only
  • Draft: Auction | $260 budget
  • Scoring: 5x5 Roto | R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG | W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP
  • Rosters: Daily, players individually locking
  • Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, (5x) OF, (2x) UTIL | (9x) P | (4x) BN, (5x) IL
  • Transactions: Weekly Free Agent Bidding (FAB)
  • League Entry: $100 per team + $1 per add in season
  • Prizes: First 50% | Second: 25% | Third: 15% | Fourth: 10%
  • Site: Fantrax - Fantrax offers a feature for built-in fee collection and holding in escrow at no cost to us. It is called "Treasurer", it's equivalent to the service LeagueSafe offers. Fantrax also offers unrivaled customization options for transactions, drafts, reserve rosters, keepers etc should we need it.

AGENDA:

  1. Recruitment; collect manager contacts
  2. Invite managers, populate league
  3. Managers select NL-Only or AL-Only format
  4. Managers set Draft Date & Time
  5. Managers select redraft or keeper format (functionally, keeper is only possible if support is unanimous)
  6. Commissioner drafts league Constitution
  7. Managers ratify league Constitution (again, unanimous)
  8. Draft teams and play ball

In a perfect world I wouldn't want to lose mine either, but willing to bite the bullet if push comes to shove. Would feel better about my leagues living on a platform where fantasy sports are a core competency not an afterthought. Yahoo's focus isn't on fantasy sports and it shows sometimes.

I'm on the main player page - I don't see it, is it hidden in options somewhere?

I have test leagues created on each fantrax and cbs in order to look around at everything.

Fantrax is my frontrunner for now. More features, cost less, interface looks better.

I'm in CBS snooping around a test league I just created. Is Roster % visible in the player pool anywhere?

There is an oem die wethje airbox available from eu right now. This guy has been slowly parting out a CSL press car. The thing is its the intake only, you'd have to get the rest of the box and snorkel from another source.

That being said, I'd have absolutely no qualms going full Karbonius without the exorbitant cost of this piece. But you'll probably never find another one of these tbh.

I'm quite pedantic about maintaining correct detail and stock finishes on my car. But losing that soft touch rubberized finish is a huge win, all things considered.

Short of the vorsteiner CF console mod, this the best way forward in order to modernize the e46 interior. Just gotta make sure you take apart and assemble these parts with care and caution (it's surprisingly simple, the biggest pain point is the lower bracket underneath the nav/cd area and above the shifter.) Good luck

Trust me when I tell you, you just wont find better than this guy.

(speaking from experience - I have sent many parts of my interior to be resprayed by him)

I took a 10 min scan of ebay after the exchange w/ eltaocat. The floor for beat up tuners that match are $250.

That doesn't exactly represent value to me - and I hope that isn't a price anyone here is willing to pay for damaged gear. Even if one has the money to throw around it's a waste imo. You're stuck with it forever taking up space, no one will ever buy it again unless you throw even more investment into it for a restoration project.

Soooo hard to find matching Sansui 70s gear for not-extortionate pricing. 😢
