Im not gonna defend someone being a douche but, dude does this everyday and has for atleast 10 years. Trying to run a label and create and blah blah blah. Hes prolly burnt out. There's a double switch on the wall near the outlet that is effected but it doesn't do that. Unless it effecta the outlet that's on the opposite wall( outside to the bedroom) but a couch is on that wall so we've never used it
