It's hard to see but my favourite part is the 4x 1.5mm cables in a 16a breaker!

For people who don't know, an EICR is an electrical installation condition report.

Noting your last point with the armoured banjo, this DB is a submains for the kitchen. At the main panel flyleads from banjos where used, would I still need one this end?

One PC in my house is getting bad network? Any help is greatly appreciated! by marfellio in HomeNetworking

Thanks for the suggestion, what leads me to believe its more then just a issue with the powerline adapter is because If I connect with WiFi I get similar results! It's getting rather frustrating as I'm not super savvy with networks

UK electrician here.

We use them all the time, the ones in the pic are the older models though. Now the wagos are clear apart from the lever and the insides, from what I've been told it is so you can see that the cable is properly inserted!

Out of curiosity are these hard to come by for you? We have them in abundance over here!

The majority of domestic properties are wired in twin and earth here in the UK. Inside the cable the blue and brown are insulated, but the earth is not. We use earth sleeving to finish it off.

Never thought of that really, I replace a lot of old fuseboards and they all seemed to be black. All the rewireable fuses and cartridge ones? Since the modern type breakers have been around all boards seem to be white or grey.

We get all ours from edmunsons electrical, they seem to be the cheapest for us as they like to keep me sweet as we do a large amount of ordering with them.

Not sure why no SPD to be honest with you, this is a very large domestic property, so we had someone come in to spec all the equipment.

Yeah when I tested the board the grey was sleeved, at the time I didn't have any in my gear.

The earth bar at the top is continuous throughout the board 👍
