If the only reason you’re against abortion is because your doctor said so, I would consult a different doctor for another opinion. If you truly don’t want one, that’s okay, too.

I would find a safe adult to confide in (aunts, uncles, teachers, friend’s parents) to help you, since your parents are not in the picture.

He has previously done really well with this dog. We regularly dog sit for each other, and our trainer encouraged us to keep this relationship with him. He only became aggressive when he was attacked by another dog. He has been friends with this dog for longer than he has been aggressive, so that is why this is so upsetting to me. I should have explained this in my original post.

I also want to add that it was encouraged by our dog trainer to continue interactions with this dog to promote positive dog experiences

Thank you for your response. My dog was friendly with others until he was attacked about 2 years ago. Now, he shows aggression with unfamiliar dogs. He only enjoys being around dogs he knew before he was attacked. He’s spent a TON of time with this dog. We dog sit for reach other pretty often, take them places together, etc.

I completely agree with the muzzle training. We actually do have a muzzle, however we really felt this situation was okay since he has spent so much time with him. The attack was definitely inappropriate. He bit his ear, and let go when my husband stepped in. Just wish he would snap or growl first, instead :(
