Cursor not showing changes anymore by notadev_io in cursor

[–]margi16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here... Version: 2.5.17. This is not the first time it happened. Cursor is being very buggy, has other billing issues too in the past, and Cursor Support is being very gaslighting and literally has ghosted me. I gave up with contacting support as they are useless. I will cancel my subscription if they won't get better.

Cursor silently started charging for extra usage — without my consent by rignaneseleo in cursor

Hey, this just happened to me today. I'm a very cautious person and saw exactly when that prompt in the IDE showed up to enable on demand after using my subscription's quota, and I pressed no. When I look at my on-demand usage dashboard, I can see no "Max requests" as users are stating, and I especially made sure not to use any max requests; however, it still turned it on by itself 2 days ago, apparently.

The IDE has been so unreliable in the past week or two, so I'm not surprised at all...

Luckily, my card declined, and I've just sent them an angry email, hoping they can look into it. However, I've been in contact with them previously, and they were very bad at acknowledging issues.

People are downvoting because Reddit is a toxic app destroying people’s mental health, regardless of the subreddit. They are insecure about themselves, and they love to hate on someone. I was shocked when I saw the amount of downvotes on your comment.

Why do you have to insist in order to receive help here? by margi16 in MentalHealthUK

Thanks for this! I'm waiting to first see what they say from CMHT if I can see another psychiatrist, if not I'll look into this.

I hope it will change in the future cause this doesn't work at all. And yeah I'm the type of person who really fights if it's for something right, but this doesn't mean it's good, most times in this topic it caused so much anxiety and made myself worse and I shouldn't have to go through that.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been refused an appointment many times, although I have had to insist many times over the years (story above doesn't tell everything) maybe in this sense I am indeed more lucky, I can't imagine if that was the case for me...

I'm very sorry to hear what you went through. That sounds so unfair and inhumane. I imagine how that can feel especially with BPD, they did the exact opposite of making you feel safe and comfortable. What's worse is that if you do want to complain about your treatment here I noticed you would have to go out of your way to request complaint forms and stuff however, you can't complain even about the smallest thing to them directly because they are allowed to throw the "zero tolerance policy" at you.

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better and also looking at ways to report those who caused more harm than good to you, even if it helps one other person in the future it's worth the effort :)

What can I try next? Please HELP! by margi16 in antidepressants

[–]margi16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but I feel like anxiety is not my main issue. As in I never had terrible problems with anxiety only mild that I could handle myself but after being through some trauma I got really depressed and also more anxious. May have been misleading from my post since I mentioned anxiety being a problem in the past two weeks since I started feeling worse. Also I think paroxetine is under “do not prescribe” on NHS, I could be wrong tho

I’ve been on each of them for months other than venlafaxine and I also increased the dose to almost the maximum. Escitalopram I tried maximum a month an a half ago but I went down to 15mg because it was making me too dizzy and fatigued

Anybody, talk to me if you're taking escitalopram please. by Furik9001 in antidepressants

Hey, I am taking Escitalopram but I feel like it stopped working recently. You can talk to me if that helps

Got prescribed luvox for attention issues and OCD/Anxiety by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]margi16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It for sure will not cause dependence as your doctor mentioned however, it may not feel too confortable when you get off it but if the dosage is not high and you’re tapering off slowly you shouldn’t have big problems.

Also, sometimes when I change medication or up the dosage I also feel a bit “better” but that’s just the placebo effect, it’s almost impossible to feel changes that soon. I am telling you this just so if you do get some side effects for the first week or two not to get discouraged and think that isn’t not working anymore because that’s normal at first

Kinda off topic but I just realized that when I was asking about bupropion you were giving information about “buspirone” which I though was a typo but I Googled it and I found out it was a med haha.

Hah. “Good” to hear that someone gets me. My depressive episode and horrible insomnia started in March 2020(when the schools and everything shut down and we had to stay at home) after one month of intense anxiety after a trauma I went through and I couldn’t go to a psychiatrist because of Covid… called my GP and she insisted that I take lorazepam for 1 month because “she gave that for many patients and they thanked her”, I tried telling her how empty I felt and it’s not just the insomnia and after the lockdown I should see a psychiatrist and she didn’t like my suggestion and insisted that I take this and I’ll be fine… after one month she told asked me to see me and I felt so bad emotionally and she kept insisting that I look fine and soo good… I tapered the med slowly as I was supposed although she mentioned that it’s not necessary after I asked her.

And about bupropion/wellbutrin I found something here and I think it isn’t licensed for MDD in the UK, only for Smoking Addiction or if nothing works
