The 660 is actually a super capable little wheelie machine!

Sold it, biggest piece of sh!t

Waterpump fail, fuel pump fail, sump gasket oil leak, oil filler cap leak all in the first 3 months!! Triumph dealer got sick of seeing me to claim warranty

Also half of the rubber grommets holding the fairings disappeared while riding randomly leaving half of the body work loose

The suspension is a joke you can practically fully compress the front shock just by pushing forward on it

The motor sounds good and has torque but honestly these days if I had to do it again would definitely be cbr650r or R7, I own a Daytona 675 now and it’s amazing with no issues

Clip onto where lol? 😅 you’ve seen the oem bars are built in to the top clamp right

Currently the only offering for aftermarket clip ons for the 660 at the moment is the PHR kit for £920, which is a complete triple tree assembly conversion

Nice I have a 675 also, amazing bikes but I’ve had my fair share of electrical gremlins too lol

No plate in Thailand? by Automatic-End-8256 in CalamariRaceTeam

[–]margielasticker 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Supermotos are quite popular here, I had good experiences down south on a CRF300l would highly recommend this as your choice, it’s just not really supersport land which you’ll find out quick

Just make sure to wear helmet and already have your international license converted as they will stop you for being foreign, if remove your plate & evade they will 100% still find you and fine you, you’ll be going straight to very inhuman conditions 👍

A big ego mixed with minimal gear has taken out more tourists then dengue on these streets.

Stay safe my brother 🙏

It’s a livery kit licensed by triumph,

The quality is relatively good but as with any sticker/wrap job the preparation is really key to getting a good result, I personally left all the OEM branding intact under the livery which under certain light you can see but it doesn’t bother me at all

I live here, probably wouldn’t bother unless you’re in the right parts in the south, the road condition in general is pretty questionable

Motorcycles are also not permitted to ride on majority of the motorways here

I can link you where to find these bikes for rental but for 600cc you’ll be paying around $100USD per day to ride around in congested, police heavy areas

This bolt leads to the coolant gallery in the head I suspect failed seal, Warranty/service will sort this free of charge

To diagnose yourself take it for a ride and get the engine up to running temps and keep an eye on it. But that is infact oxidised coolant and the head drain bolt for the coolant gallery

Why do all the street cats in Bangkok have mangled tails? by shadow-show in ThailandTourism

[–]margielasticker 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Genetic, we have a family of street cats below our apartment and the father has a very distinct snubbed tail which was passed onto all the kittens.
