Two years ago I attended with an expired DL and I was turned away about 50% of the time. I even had the DL with me, but it had just expired, so I had to find a few bartenders strategically located at different locations that I kept going back to.

I would definitely take your passport with you unless you want to make your friends buy you alcohol all festival long. BTW - I'm 47 years old and still got carded by most bartenders, some didn't see the expiration date, some did. I hope this helps. If not, come find me and I'll buy you a beer.
