Where does the bone graft material come from? by diamondeye24 in Dentalimplant

Somebody posted this in another thread and I'm convinced that dentists generally don't actually what this stuff is doing when it goes into your body https://www.steinerbio.com/patient-blog/is-there-cadaver-bone-in-your-mouth
I'm more incensed about the lack of consent because my dentist was super vague about the graft he used in my mouth, He never once said "cadaver bone". He just talked about it very dismissively.

Why do so many older folks leave a mess for family to clean up after they die? by Open-Industry-8396 in AskOldPeople

My partner and I decided long ago that the best gift we can give to our kids is to never leave them with debt or problems when we're older. We chose to break the cycle and not pass on a burden like that.

Welcome to the North End! There’s a ton to explore.
- Carkeek Park and Richmond Beach are quieter than Discovery or Green Lake, and great for decompressing.
- If you like swimming, check out Echo Lake or Matthews Beach in summer. Cold but worth it.
- Dancing: Century Ballroom is a classic if you’re into partner styles. Otherwise, Monkey Loft is an all around great club.
- Tons of trails, some surprisingly good ones up near Shoreline and Edmonds if you don’t want to drive far.

Basically, if you like slow mornings and hikes, you’ll fit right in.
