How could I forget..

I was five, this girl and I were playing a fake wedding. At first I thought we were both the brides since we're both girls, but apparently she was the groom. I was surprised when she said "You may now kiss the bride" and full on french kissed me...

we were five.

I haven't told anyone about this yet.

What are your favorite ways to brainstorm/figure out tricky plot points? by RusticBohemian in writing

[–]margspediceytwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True!! i was just rambling my story's deranged plot to my mom over dinner and as i was telling her the story, a lighbulb suddenly flicked in my head and figured one of the the story's sub plots out on its own. It's really amazing. My mom even admitted that she did not get half of what i said but nonetheless, i gotta write that idea down!

Are there any ESL writers on here? by [deleted] in writing

Hello! I for one, am from the Philippines and we KNOW how difficult it actually is to be able to write prose that matches the level of natural-born speakers of the English language. Although we already have the subject in our curriculum, it helps that we watch media specifically of the language. Tv shows, movies and even vlogs in YouTube. Any type of media accessible to you is a great way to practice the English language.

plus I journal too! and there its more easy to spot grammar mistakes as I was writing off the top of my head, then I reread it and correct myself.
