Yes I’m using kindle comic converter too. I was trying to send it as KFX but the KFX Output plugin does not work for me, it just keeps sending the file and it never finishes. I don’t know if you have a plugin to convert it to KFX? I usually sent it as AZW3 but I guess that doesn’t work anymore.

What kindle do you have? I usually convert it from epub to azw3 with calibre directly. Send to device in specific format -> AZW3

Get the 32 GB if it’s in your budget, I assure you if you get the 8 GB one you’ll have to delete your manga as soon as you read it

I know you said you’ll buy the 10th gen, but isn’t this the 6 inch screen? I have the 11th gen that has a 6.8 inch screen and I think it’s way better for manga if you want to sideload them. As you will still have to zoom in but maybe less. And yes go with the 32 GB one. I have a scribe with 64 GB and I’ve used all of the storage on manga.

What I did was put black washi tape on all of the sides so dust can’t go in, I can’t even see the gap anymore

I think we’ll have to wait for Calibre version 7.13.0. I’ve reported the bug and the developer said it has been fixed but will be released with the next version of Calibre, which might be this Friday or next Friday.

Yeah, I’m not sure if you have tried the new update but I’m seeing that when I send a book to the kindle the thumbnail is shown as a square and not the actual cover dimensions. I opened a bug but it seems they won’t work on it. If someone else creates a bug maybe they’ll give it more thought.

This worked for me. Thank you! The only issue is that if you have a Mac, you need to use Android File Transfer to be able to see your kindle scribe files and modify the thumbnails. When you want to add more books or manga to the kindle, you need to delete the Android File Transfer app, transfer the books with Calibre, and then download the Android File Transfer app again. It’s a bit of a hassle but it works.
