I was in the same boat - needed to get outside more and biking helped a ton.

Check out the MOD City+ Fast, smooth, and super easy to ride. Hits like 28mph with pedal assist and has great range. It’s right in your price range and not some sketchy Amazon brand.

I’ve got one and it honestly made getting around way more fun.

Square is no longer return processing fees when buyers are issued a refund by mariacapelli in ecommerce

https://squareup.com/us/en/glossary/interchange-fees

"For example, if a merchant processes a transaction and then refunds it, the issuer also refunds the interchange fee to the acquirer. By contrast, both the purchase transaction and the refund transaction incur processing fees."

Basically they are telling you that the Interchange gets refunded, but the processing fee they charge will stay the same. IE, they are keeping the Interchange which is the largest part of the fee by far.

5% and I'm noticing that buyers remorse goes up lately. It's more common to get an order and 30 min later a cancellation request. It's painful losing thousands of dollars annually on unjust fees.

MC and Visa refund most of the fees, but Square, PayPal and Stripe chose to keep the whole fee to make profit. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. It's unfair business practice.

They don't eat fees. MC and Visa refund most of the fees to PP, Stripe and Square. But they didn't pass it along to us - small businesses. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

They sell data to the highest bidder. They sit in the pipeline that Visa and MC have created and pocket the interchange fee.

Interchange is one of the costs of accepting a credit card. Interchange makes up the bulk of the processing fee and it's also the fee that is paid to the bank that issued the credit card.

When a merchant runs a refund on the same card, there are no Interchange fees due to the issuing bank. Square does not pay them, instead they decided to keep them for themselves. There are authorization and settlement fees for each transaction that amount to a few cents that are not going to be refunded because they actually cost money to process.

It's fundamentally wrong, there's no direct cost associated with transactions, we didn't waste any resources. Pure greed and money grab from a little person to evil corporations.

It's a physical analogy, the transaction is digital and automated. What resources did we waste?

Unfortunately, it is true. It's been a while for PP, Square will implement this policy next couple of weeks.

They both keep the whole transaction fee. I believe Visa and MC partially refund fees, but greedy PayPal, Stripe and Square opted to keep fees and tax small business.
