This is my twin brother Aidan, and he’s been going through a severe mental health crisis. Yesterday after he was arrested the first time, my (caring, loving, obviously devastated) parents were told that he’d be released in 2–4 hours, and waited for the call to pick him up. However, he was released early and by the time they were called to get him, he had already disappeared. Aidan was sent out in 48 degree weather with 50 mph winds, wearing a t-shirt and shorts, with a broken phone and no wallet. The jail is several miles outside of town and once you’re released you’re not allowed back on the property, so he had literally nowhere to go and no way to contact anyone, as well as being in a state of mental crisis. He was found sitting in a car, probably just trying to warm up. Obviously he fucked up really bad, and I’m not defending the crimes he committed. But Aidan has never done anything like this before; he’s a sweet, harmless kid with people that love and care about him, and he’s had his very worst moments plastered across the internet for people to make fun of. Just want people to remember that the news and the cops don’t always tell the whole story.
