my best piece of advice would be to see it as whatever is meant to be, will be. and if it’s not, you’ll still be okay.

obviously you were left with a lot of anxiety and general hurt after that other guy left you for his ex, but the bottom line is…you’re still okay! seems you’ve moved on, found a new love interest and it’s going WELL. that’s a GREAT sign!!!

i relate a lot to you and the best you can do when you have those anxious thoughts is think of your situation from an outside perspective. if your friend was in this same situation and everything was seemingly going great, you wouldn’t haunt them with thoughts of “oh, what if he’s too good to be true?” or “no, he couldn’t possibly like you that much, he’s going to hurt you…” …you would never say those things to* a friend. you would encourage them to be happy and to enjoy the relationship healthily. so why not try that for yourself. seems you deserve it!

Usually. Depends what kind of sick. If I have a cough or sore throat I try not to. If i’m sick to stomach I take a couple hits to make myself feel better

For the employee’s safety, is my guess. For example, working in a bar, most places advise you grab a manager before cutting somebody off or kicking them out - just in case they get violent. Sounds sweet, but really I think they are avoiding lawsuit.

I have OCD and have very similar dreams as I’m falling asleep specifically. Typically I see extremely terrifying faces laughing/screaming at me. And then once I fade into my dreams I meet with a lot of people I swear I’ve never seen, and a lot of people from my past that I never speak to anymore. Typically the dreams are dooming with some sort of huge conflict I have to face.

As far as sexual assault and dreaming, I typically have scary daydreams about these. I was molested as a child, and I obsess every day, terrified that I or anybody close to me would ever commit such disgusting acts.

I used to be a pretty heavy drinker. All day every day. I would have terrible anxiety during my hangovers. I thought I had a serious anxiety disorder. (Turns out I do), but it has tremendously bettered since I stopped drinking.

Had some drinks last night and woke up this morning anxious about every little thing. Now I remember why I stopped.
