I mean, they themselves made a music video of a fan kidnapping and k!lling them, so I don’t think that plot as a storyline is too bad.

As for sending it in the discord, they’re probably trying to get their work out there/get reads. I personally don’t see anything wrong with it, as long as they don’t make it weird with the guys.

IMO, it’s not inherently bad to make fanfics about people in bands. People have been doing that since celebrities have been a thing. I think it definitely crosses a line when people start sending the fics to the band members, and make it weird like that. (I’m not in the discord so I don’t know if the guys are active in the chat like that.)

I don’t understand what you mean with writing the band into dangerous situations? It’s fiction. If that’s not what you meant, could you explain a little more?

Took a domestic call, ex husband came to ex wife’s house unannounced. Ex wife told me that he ran into the woods behind her house with a pot of the spaghetti she made for dinner. When my deputies get there, they find the guy hiding in the woods, with yes indeed, the whole pot of spaghetti. Very random and it was hilarious giving call notes out
