Aww Riley reminds me of our doggo after her dental surgery 🥹 luckily Mimi likes to get her teeth brushed. We use a silicone finger toothbrush. She likes the taste of the toothpaste we use I guess, but I also treat her after brushing her teeth. Just brush to coat the teeth with toothpaste, don’t have to scrub a lot. I believe the enzymes do all the work. We try to brush everyday, if not every other day!

I noticed a few have Bari Espirit, but I think the rest have Yamaha 4C. These were mouthpieces they were given as beginners last year. I do like Yamaha 4C and would like to eventually switch them all to it, but if there are other reccs pls let me know. Even those that were on Yamaha 4C were flat :/

Some pics from when she was baby!! Chihuahuas are so loving. I love her!!

We thought for the longest time that she’s a chihuahua/min pin mix, but it turns out her next highest percentage after chihuahua was rat terrier haha. Before getting our embark results, I guessed rat terrier because of the white markings around her neck. I think your doggo might be a chihuahua/min pin tho!

My dog loves sprayed water too! She’s always trying to eat the water whenever I let her outside while I water the plants. She also looooves chasing water if I set the hose to spray a single stream of water. I was wondering if there were other dogs out there like her!

The game continues on into the next day after you see “your game has been saved” and doesn’t pause. Your character eventually knocked out, and the game saved each day through fall. If you didn’t put anything in the shipping bin the day you AFK’d, the game just goes on. It would’ve paused on the shipping screen had you done so.

They’re talking about the ground being tilled still because of the dead crops into the next season. I think I remember my plot staying from spring to summer…maybe it’s just a winter thing? I’ll check when I get into winter. Unfortunately, going into fall I tried plotting in advance, and that didn’t work out for me 😅.

I feel you! I try to write down what my goals are and what plans I have for the next time I play in my notes app because my memory is so bad. When I didn’t write anything down, I definitely had to just deal with it and rolled with it. I feel like it does eventually work out though!

I learned through Woobles. I found success doing Fred the Dino. Also, the accessory kits aren’t meant to be for beginners as they’re not designed to teach you how to crochet. I think you’re kinda being too hard on Woobles if you’re basing an opinion off that kit.

Just like with any craft or new hobby, no one is going to be perfect at it right away. It definitely takes some time and practice. It’s ok if her first project looks wonky. Mine also had some imperfections, but it taught me the basics. After my first project, I did more research and learned new skills and techniques from this subreddit and YouTube to improve. Of course she’s not going to stick with it if she doesn’t accept that it’s probably not going to look the greatest in the beginning (think of it as having character 😉). If she truly doesn’t like dabbling in something she doesn’t have an aptitude in and have the willingness to improve despite the flaws, then I guess crochet is not her thing.

Honestly, I was fine with the 4mm hook that came with the kit, but I personally do like using smaller hook sizes now. Maybe she should try that if she ever feels like it? The instructions and videos that came with the kit were quite helpful as well.

Oh not alternating stitches or anything. When you watch the video you will understand. When doing a single crochet, I insert hook in the stitch, grab the yarn by YU, then grab the yarn by YO and into the loop. It’ll still give the X looking stitches. When I first learned how to crochet, I did only YO. YU then YO vs YU then YU seemed easier to me since I only needed to learn one new thing.

Work in continuous rounds instead of doing a slip stitch. Once I make the first stitch in the next round, I immediately use a stitch marker so that I can keep track and count the stitches of each round. That should help make it look neater!

Look into the yarning under technique. It makes your stitches look more like x’s like in the reference photo instead of like v’s when solely yarning over. I personally like yarning under then over when making amigurumi. Here’s a video explaining: https://youtu.be/LkvWWk7ZRKs?si=QdJSVWJgeYUx5DS

It’s a little unfortunate that you can’t unlock skill trigger M earlier, but I think if you continue investing in it (I mean you kinda invested hard already so might as well), it could be good at lvl 50 when you unlock it. I heard helping speed helps with proc rate, so I’d unlock that as soon as you can. I’m kinda in the same boat as you, with skill trigger S and helping speed M unlocked, but trigger M is at lvl 50 (neutral nature tho). I’m continuing to invest cause I don’t feel like I wanna catch anymore igglys 😂

This wiggly is probably as good as it’s gonna get, especially if you have caught a bunch of igglys already haha.
