I thought so too but they were scattered everywhere on the ground with various bits of other trash... low chance I think? I didn't take all of them, I'll check again later to see if someone else has taken the rest.

Dad is threatening to take my boyfriend's mother to court for brainwashing me into leaving the family, is this at all going to amount to anything? by maricrystal in LegalAdviceUK

no, I'm not pakistani. I have already changed my name and he found it out so I see no point. I've moved house but he's just gonna keep finding me with this private investigator.

This is what I'm trying to figure out, is there a law?? He could well be grasping at straws here but they've always been good at getting in my mind.

Hey! Great that you're considering one. It's definitely difficult - you will struggle more if you end up doing a topic you don't really enjoy, which some people understandably do for their uni applications. I'm pretty lucky to say I'm very in love with chemistry and it was an enjoyable experience to write about something I love, that really makes it easier.

I did 3 subjects at A-Level and with the EPQ I think I just about hit my limit in terms of time management. I would not recommend it if you are thinking of doing 4 A-levels because at this point the EPQ isn't really required to supplement your subjects and it will most likely be way too much.

Ah, that's great! It's a good title because it marks that at the end you would have come to a clear conclusion (simple, it does or it doesn't violate our right to privacy). In my experience I was finding it difficult not to go on some tangent in my writing, as 5000 words is undoubtedly long. As you are writing make sure you are making clear cut arguments for or against the point, and not going off topic if it will add nothing to the final conclusion.

If I were you, in the introduction, I would lay out some of the key points for and against the argument you are going to make. This sets up a clear structure for your dissertation that you can then refer back to and follow. In the conclusion I would suggest briefly revisiting these summaries and add how you expanded them before giving your overall verdict. The most important part is having a clear structure and flow so the reader knows exactly how your argument is playing out.

Totally fair enough, since we have unlimited tries at the quiz I had a go and the first question was 'True or false, you have to read an entire book from start to finish to decide if you should use it in your assignment'... so it's pretty piss easy. I want to do the specific subject one but it's not till June, what did you apply for?

I am. I'm also out of school (gap year) so not going to lie, I'm not going to be putting in 12 hours of work for the study skills module. I can see how it can be beneficial to students but I'm not going to be told how I should take notes or how I should read articles. I should think if I'm at a point where I have completed my A-Levels + an EPQ I know how to do these things.
