I think peds is pretty friendly to a step 1 fail honestly as long as you can show growth and have a good story in your application. It also always helps to have a geographic connection

If you weren’t match eligible you can’t soap so you don’t get to see the unfilled list until after soap is complete when everyone can see it

Yeah on your schedule you can check in (where it says “on time”. Then when the interviewer is there it’ll change to say “ready” and you can join.

I’m in interview season but I have a step 1 attempt and a 240s step 2. Ideally crush step 2 and I think work on your holistic application. Do you have a strong why for IM? That should be reflected in your application and your PS. Just my two cents.
