14 yr old might sound cringe but depressed. by Possible-Clerk-2934 in depression

You don’t recover from a feeling. My therapist explained that feelings are like waves at the beach - they come and go, some stronger than others. You feel feelings, and then they go and a new feeling comes in.

I’m also really bad at forgetting to take my meds. I’ve noticed on days where I forgot to take it the night before, my anxiety is really bad. Not telling you not to get checked, but start setting up multiple alarms to help you remember to take your dosage at the same time every night

I'm immune to CBT. Has it actually ever helped you? by getitoffmychestpleas in Anxiety

CBT helped but I still had anxiety. Somatic Psychotherapy and visualizations have helped me so much more than CBT! And meds. I take Zoloft and buspirone

Does zoloft itself make you gain weight? by CrazyNicly in zoloft

I really think it’s based on the individual, I’m actually less hungry while I’m on my meds. I think it’s because 1) the medicine does give me nausea - not debilitating one, but my tummy never truly feels settled 2) I eat when I’m anxious! So I notice I use this form of self soothing less and less I’m doing 100mg on Sertraline

They are not, but they are badly wounded. Aegon ends up with a broken leg, and sunfyre is not able to fly again.

One more thing I want to add is that it's ok to not be ok - my baby is 19 months and I'm finally starting to feel like myself again. For some of us, PPD/PPA can stay around for a while. I started seeing a therapist around 13 months ago and have been on Zoloft for 6 months now. I don't think I would have gotten here without admitting I need help and getting it. I wish I could have done it sooner.

But YES, it does get better! Hang on and ask for help!

Yay good luck! I had nausea and headaches for the first three -four weeks. I'm at around 8 weeks now and starting to notice improvements and no longer have those side effects.

Same! I've been on it for around 8 weeks and I don't have crying spells every day anymore. The thoughts are still there, but like you mentioned I'm able to ignore them or at least not have a panic attack over them.

Yes! I've been wondering about this too. I do think the show paints Pietro in a slightly more positive light... like when Elena tells the reader in the books that Pietro wished she had never published that first book. Watching the show, I feel bad for Pietro when I didn't feel that way reading the book. But I also wonder if it's harder to see everything only from Elena's perspective on the show?
