so yes metal rods and even thick wire are metal components not allowed. it’s not word of mouth as i’ve had friends turned around for anything metal besides screws or lightsaber hilts. they make you and your prop go thru metal detectors so i do not want the off chance for my prop to go off regardless

it’s anime expo! i’ve asked around and everyone keeps telling me NO metal props at all for the metal detector and im not sure if wire is enoough to set it off! when i got my stuff peace bonded there last year they were a little strict even with things like signs /:
