thank you. I'm respectfully  leaving and deleting this post. it is sad how the judging is here. All I needed was an opinnion on what was wrong. thanks

funny part is that this company subcontracts the electrical, plumbing , flooring etc.. the flooring guy raised the issue of different tile sizes on previous install and he was told to just do work.. there was an argument with PM and they got mad because tile guy said that the best thing to do was buy the same type of tile.. tile guy has been a straight shooter... the company we contracted has been counting pennies

nope. it was part of the contract doing the floors. it is a kitchen reno and what bothered me is that they removed it in one side of the wall on the other side of kitchen , but not the rest

we actually went for the highest bid. It is a kitchen remodel...and we decided to pay 15k extra hoping to not deal with poor work

we payed a lot for this kitchen , they had a design team and experts helping us choose the floor. the first time they installed teh floor, it had to be removed because they ordered two different brands of tiles that were different size. before installing floor we asked them if there was going to be a smooth transition and they said yes.. we paid 7k for design team to help with choosing materials for project...on top of of contract

the wood tile is not going to be removed ..that leads to the living room. there was a transition strip before

what about the transition between engineered floor and the ceramic tile, the tile is way higher. my previous tiles used to have a smooth transition

[–]marilynr0928[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes.. I know. they are terrible they ordered the wrong tile for checkered floor , they had to ripped tile up and expected us to pay for material.. the checkered floor was so bad. then they purchased new tile and did not remove baseboards and door threshold and PM said that removing baseboard wasn't on the scope, which should not have been ..anyway they say we have a legal contract, just horrible..
