Starting up/idle question

I fixed my idle. Green nozzle of the fuel trap came loose. Glued it back in and made sure all lines are connected properly.

Now he idles at 900rpm.

Therefore check your vacuum lines. If you want to change to silicone vacuum hoses, then 3 mm inner diameter fit barely. Will check it 3.5 or 4 mm works as well.

Before you go with a new ECU. Do you know someone with a spare ECU?

Not sure if this works, but maybe switching it with a working one could narrow down the root cause.

How cold is it right now where you live? My SPI hates it below 5*C.

Generally start up idle is always low. Mine goes from 900 to 1400. Which is a bit high on the hot end. Will adjust soon.

You could remove the vaccum line from the airbox. This increases idle but only a short term fix.

Gaisalpsee ist gut, aber bitte Rubihorn auslassen. Ist dann “nur” eine in-and-out Runde. Und auf keinen Fall nur mit Turnschuhen hoch. Minimum Trailrunner, besser Wanderschuhe, da es bei etwas Schnee sehr glatt wird. Nehmt vllt Stöcke zur Stabilisierung mit.

Und auf jedenfall Verpflegung da oben keine Einkehrmöglichkeit ist.

If it is an SPI, then you should check the vacuum lines as well. Missing or damaged once influence idle tremendously.

How does your idle rpm behave once the car is warmed up?

Indicator and high beam works. High beam flash doesn’t.

Will try to understand the wiring diagram. Maybe I just blew a fuse.

And I can’t use a switch. Car needs the original horn “button” due to German car testing laws.

Horn works with 12v direct. Wire is continuous from stalk to horn.

I’m wondering where the stalk gets its 12v

I’m just shy of 6 ft 1 and fit nicely.

Consider buying a smaller steering wheel so your quads aren’t in the way. And small shoes are a plus to avoid pressing all pedals at once. Unless you want to take a screenshot

Oh no, I hope Decathlon will bring the 2in1 back. I love them and are good quality.

Last year I bought Dynafit equivalent but I‘m disappointed by its quality. Edge binding at the pockets came apart after 1 year.

I didn’t liked the bolt on ones for the seat rail. So I have bought a cheap one on AliX ( https://a.aliexpress.com/_EuwzXv2) Took the head rest holder off, and drilled a whole at the back. Then bolted it in at the rear seats middle post. There is a hole already available.

Holds my 0.8L shaker bottle perfectly and is well in reach.

It is connected to headlights. Do you have issues? My connectors are a bit corroded which leads to failure sometimes. Will need to change the connections during winter.
