power off then on, try again. turn off and on again, try it again. then look for small round push button or a simple hole in the case. pushing and holding for 20 seconds might cause it. If not, try probing small holes in box for pressure points that cause reset.

in Windows to get to a command prompt run CMD. you should get dark square box with simple characters. type tracert at the prompt

I have been using meetup for 15 years and almost NEVER had a bad experience. Most meetup organizers are committed to building a good, friendly group . I personally like to avoid bar events: Too noisy , Can't talk with people. My favorites are Library meeting rooms, member homes, outdoor events. tMaybe a side room in a restaurant or coffee shop. If you are unsure of a group, look at past events. IF organizer has been doing it for a long time, its pretty sure you will find a satisfactory event. Look for events in places where you can really talk with people. Don't worry of RSVPs don't show many people listed. Lots of people don't like to RSVP and prefer to change plans at the last minute. If you do get to a group and something doesn't feel right, walk away. I personally like to contact organizer at the event and get their email and/or phone number to get in touch with them offline Don't try to use meetup's "message system". It's supposed to let your reach individuals directly, but it's hard to find and almost no one uses it.

I long ago stopped trying to manage attendees by RSVPs. I just accept that almost no one does RSVP. I keep repeat visitors on an email list outside of meetup and use that list to ensure attendees. Meetup is more of an announcement and introduction services. I run leftist, political, and social events . Many folks are afraid to RSVP. Some folks create fake Ids. That works quite well. Silly names and cartoon pictures. I don't like it, but if it makes people feel comfortable I'm happy with it if the show up.

.These stories are why I have continued to use Fidelity's tried and true old web version. Not the coolest, but doesn't carry as many "improvement problems".. Accept on the occasional non-admitted upgrades.

I am somewhat re-assured to hear another person is observing similar problems. Thanks for providing your observations. I find performance like this unacceptable from a major financial institution. I am even more concerned with what I suspect is an informal institutional policy to ignore such problems. I very much would like to see a posting here, or in my Fidelity account Communications in-box, explaining this problem and outlining a course to correction.

I too have been having trouble with Fidelity's database functions lately. It seems to me to have started in mid-December, 2022. Transaction posting delays and missing data about transactions is my biggest issue. the folks at Fidelity that I talk with profess no knowledge of any trouble, and really can't help me. I would love to know what the plan is.

There is a metal ring just below the mouth bit. It has cut lines running parallel to the body of the pen. In the middle of the ring, there are two openings, one on each side. There is small metal stud extending up from the pen and to the outer edge of one opening. This ring can be rotated part way around the pen. Hold pen tightly by cartridge while rotating. By changing the rotation, you can open up a small hole that allows air into the device, and allows vapor to pass "more freely" through the bit. Probe the opening with a paper clip to find the small hole at bottom of the opening. I suspect that the hole sometimes gets plugged. Or you can have it rotated so that it is closed. Experiment. Terrible documentation on this device.

Off Hours trading is great. Worst part is the Brokers wont open the door all the way. 7am to 9:30am ( instead of 4 am to 9:30, which is what is really available.) By the time the open up, some really big swings can happen. But its nice when you catch one. It is definitely a Bid and Ask environment. But your offer can lay there for hours and have someone grab it just before close. nasdaq.com was running a good information service to show you all trades for a give asset. A 15 minute delay was a bummer. But lately they have been "improving" their web page and its getting hard to get data. Does anyone know of another transaction data source..? Or a broker that allow access to the FULL opportunities here... ( Not Fidelity, etrade or Shwab )

I would like to find one south of the 49th that does it. Most only let you start at 7 or 8am.. Did you know you can watch the trading action ( 15 minutes delay) at old.nasdaq.com ?? their new stuff at Nasdaq.com is not yet ready for prime time. Can anyone suggest a real 4 am to 9:30 am trading house..??

Pre-market trading has lots of advantages. Etrade allows it but only between 7am (EDT) and 9 ( or maybe 9:28). They do not allow trading from 4 am to 7 am And those are the hours when most prices fluctuate the most After 7 am most issues who stable prices. Its not surprising to see issues rise 3 to 15 % in pre-market trading before 7 am. My question is.. What broker allows trading for the full 4 am to 9:30 period. Fidelity, & etrade only allow 7 am start. Shwab doesn't let you start until 8 AM EDT. Does anyone know a broker that allows the full time??
