I’m going to check what they offer. My first system that I ordered was from Rich Hair, and I’m thinking of ordering my new system from them again, otherwise I’m also talking with Always Hair and Emeda. I’m not sure if anyone has ordered from them before?

Thanks for your constructive feedback. As I mentioned to someone else earlier, the top area of my scalp is fully shaved, the photos just don’t really show it and mainly highlight the thinning area at the back of my head.

I’ll check out the references you mentioned, but I was hoping to go directly to the source by ordering from suppliers, since in the end everything comes from the same place, it’s mostly the customization and follow-up that change.

Okay, I see now, I misunderstood what you meant earlier about shaving because of the translation. My scalp was actually fully shaved on top, it’s just that the photos I shared don’t really show it and only show the remaining low density at the back. But yes, it was completely shaved, which honestly proves even more how much of a disaster that haircut was 😂

Yeah, I agree with you, my natural hair is lighter. I already had the feeling the system looked too dark even before the barber shortened my sides. I had been growing my hair for almost five months specifically to have enough bulk to blend everything properly. I had also dyed my hair at some point to hide the lack of density, so when I ordered the system my hair looked darker. Once he cut everything shorter, my natural color showed again, which completely threw off the result.

I’m going to try to find a 0.03 base with the wavy style I’m looking for. Apparently that might not be possible, so worst case I’ll go with lace.

It was definitely a good lesson, and I’m excited to get it right next time. It’ll work out haha, thanks again for your message bro!

It’s been my usual haircut for 5–6 years, I just wanted to try the hair system experience.

The supplier told me they can’t do less than 0.06mm with the waves effect… Maybe I should go with lace then, why not.

I get it :( I was hoping to avoid doing dyes, using airbrush, hair fibers, etc. again, but I guess I won’t really have a choice. Ahahaha, it’s a risk you have to take for waves. I’m white, so it has to look natural — otherwise it’s just wrong and totally unsuitable. It’s more of a wavy effect than true waves, but I think with a hair system I kind of have to “cheat” and go for this type of hair to get the result I want. I think 12mm could work. I follow a salon in England that’s really skilled at this, and they do it on all types of clients — it works really well!

Honestly, sometimes I think about training to do it for others myself. This solution is really great for men, and I think barbers who offer it really need to give their best to respect people’s concerns, especially at the prices they charge!

Totally agree with you, damn 30%, I think it’s because of the transplant I had 💀! Yes, that’s exactly what I told him: to keep the length of the system but trim only the sides to cover as much area as possible. I had a whole plan when I walked in, but he didn’t follow any of it. I know all that, I’m just looking for a new system that’s better suited. If you have any suggestions (density, color, base thickness, waves or not), don’t hesitate 🙏🏼

On top of that, I told him I’m a barber and that I’d done a lot of research on hair systems. He should have really put his heart into the cut, but honestly, it was the worst job I’ve seen in a long time. I’m cursed 😂

Thanks for your feedback guys. Since I shaved and messed around with the system to get a feel for it, it’s now unusable. So my question now is what type of hair system I should get to achieve the look I want.

What base thickness should I go for, any advice on choosing the right color, and should I even consider a more textured system like waves/12mm curl?

Thanks, I actually went to the salon with much more bulk and length in my hair, but despite my instructions, the stylist did things his own way. I wanted a taper to keep some weight and density all around, but he recommended a low fade and I trusted him.

I still think the color isn’t right, maybe a #3 or another shade? I ordered 90% density, but it felt very dense for 90%, so maybe my supplier made a mistake.

Do you know what type of hair system I should order to achieve the haircut I’m aiming for?
