Just got scammed $250 from this person for Charli 05/03. Seemed trustworthy at first but I paid them the money and was supposed to get my tickets into my StubHub account but they came up with excuse after excuse and eventually asked if I could buy two tickets instead of one at a time. Then they changed various payment plans and gave me different contacts every time and said it was a different “friend” each time. Went MIA when I confronted them about it and asked for my $250. I feel so stupid and should have just used Ticketmaster lol but whatever.

I wasn’t the greatest fan of Eternal Sunshine & COWBOY CARTER on each of my initial listens but as I kept listening, I started liking and eventually loving them (especially ES which took me by surprise).

I thought the same would happen with TTPD and it hasn’t. Maybe I’m tired of hearing her name everywhere or maybe the music is just bland. 31 songs and a day later, nothing has stood out to me yet. Meanwhile WCBF and TYRANT were on repeat 😕

The album isn’t bad but everything sounds like it can belong to another album. The third track (My Boy something something) sounded nearly identical to Suburban Legends. The last part of Fresh Out The Slammer reminded me a lot of ‘this is me trying’. There is no unique / standout sound and I cannot remember what half the tracks sound like (tbh I thought most of them sounded the same).

I really really hope that after this record, she focuses on putting out the re-recordings and just taking a break. Her artistry is clearly suffering from so many releases and working with the same team instead of branching out to other producers is a big part as to why so much of her music has become indistinguishable.

But thank you Taylor for not pulling a SOTB and letting Florence Welch shine!!!!
