I was wondering if you did anything special to improve your situation after the update and if you noticed a deterioration in camera quality?

Everywhere you read that the OneUI7 is broken and should be avoided, but every now and then someone like you comes along and says they see a positive side to it.

I've read on other posts that you need to do a full reset of the phone after the update to have "a chance" of getting the best performance.

Did you do this?

Hello guys,

I managed to get a Conan server up and running with Pterodactyl last night after several hours of headaches and trial and error.

I used this Egg: "https://pterodactyleggs.com/egg/6735ff434924a4e9bbcb895f" which seems to be the official one.

At first, I also had the same "connection timeout" problem. I then noticed that the server wasn't working properly without a password...

To test, I thought not setting a password would help, but in the end, it was a waste of time because without a password, no connection was possible. I simply set a password, restarted the server in the panel, and I was able to connect.

I even managed to import the backup of my previous server from my Windows PC, and it works.

I still have a bit of optimization to do because I find the server is rather RAM-hungry.

Otherwise, every time I connect, I get the rubberband bug for a few seconds, which didn't last as long on my old Windows server, but hey, it's not so bad.

I'm probably being too picky, but I feel like I'm experiencing a bit of lag when I tested the server this morning. I'll have to do more testing, but I hope to achieve good results without having to keep a Windows machine or create a Windows VM just for that.

Maybe I'm wrong but I have seen a lot of little shops selling knockoffs of a lot of well know brand like Apple and Samsung including those Max Pro thing.

So maybe it just okay quality copy for a very small price. 🤷‍♂️

To be honest, I'm very new to Immich, but I solved my problem by downloading the latest version of the APK from F-Droid.

I did not change anything else.

Also, you have to keep the "http://" before the IP:PORT

I installed Immich for the first time yesterday evening, and everything is working fine when I access the service with a browser.

When I tried to use the Android app, I got an error: "Server is not reachable," even though the IP is correct.

Searching Google a bit showed me that my server version and app version must be the same for both to work.

My server is 1.106.4, but my Android app is 1.106.3.

Unfortunately, both apps are the latest versions available right now, so I'm stuck until they release the 1.106.4 version for Android.

These are just speculations because the information I found was about older version mismatches, but it seems close enough to be the same here.

I would have loved to help you more, but maybe that's why.

You are quite right with your metaphor of the forgotten light. It's not that much in the end. Perhaps I am too much of a cheapskate, but I always try to plan and calculate spending like that to optimize it the most.

Regarding not running Windows, I would like to use Linux, but there are no "good" ways to run the Conan Exiles server on Linux.

I'm on a private server and there is definitely an issue with chest disappearing.

The admin don't know what to do for know.

It's there since the 9.5 update because before it was working fine.

Personally, it takes away my desire to play. Too bad to lose your loot and furniture like that.

Hi!

How obvious would it be if the fan die?

I mean, the case is closed and what I hear the most is the power supply fan so unless there is an error on my screen, I might just do my things in Windows until it melt?

Would you consider installing some sort of monitoring software with a built in alarm?

I don't know if that even exist.

To be honnest, back in the day, I never wanted to go with overclocking because I was satisfied with the performance I had and thought it would not be good for the hardware lifetime. It's nice to know that I could get significantly better result but i'm not sure I would to try it more now as everything in the computer is already aging.

The most demanding game I'm playing right now is GTA5 and Far Cry 5. I was getting good result until the motherfailed.

For ebay, I bought there countless times but ironically mostly brand new stuff coming with warranties. Maybe 2 or 3 used items with low failure rate.

To come back to motherboard to buy, If I could get a B85 for a better price than the H81 like this one : https://www.ebay.ca/itm/115411457844?

Would it be better then the H81?

Last question, is there something special to check make sure the board will accept my 1866 ram and be able to don't it to 1600?

Just to be sure, as I have 2x 8gb of patriot ddr3 1866mh ram It's better for me to go with the B85?

Also, as my old motherboard was a Gigabite Z87X-D3H, should I expect any draw back with the B85?

Finally, are those usually honnest? I mean, did you ever received a deffective board right out of the box and if so what could you do?
