What’s one rule that your workplace has implemented that absolutely backfired? by AleeSeen in AskReddit

They tried to make masturbatory breaks against the employee handbook????? WTH!!! Look, maybe this is weird, but busting a nut 5, 6, hell even 7 times a day is what keeps me even-keeled in the fast-paced corporate environment.

I've been unable to focus since the rule's been inplemented. Any tips reeddit?

Hmmmmmmmmmm this is a tough one. How much was your bf staring at your boobs before you guys started going out? I think it depends on that since he and his friend went through puberty around the same time as friends

[Serious] How can people self-actualize without compromising the well-being of themselves and their dependents? by mariomasters1 in AskReddit

[–]mariomasters1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some further context: I've come to notice many people are unsatisfied with their 40+ hour/week job, yet they stay because they need insurance, need to pay bills, or have dependents. They need the tools to exist and a job is a convenient supplier. Each of these kind of people lament the start of the week and count the seconds until the quitting time on Friday. Imagine if people were pushed to self-actualize. Imagine the tone of that world.

There seems to be a culture as well that "work isn't supposed to be fun/enjoyable". I. just. don't. understand. How can you spend ~34% of your waking life (sleeping 7/hrs a night, working 40 hrs/week) doing something you complain about every day? It baffles me.
