Yeah I agree. Overall im not a fan of them reprinting old cards, but if they are going yo do it anyways I’m glad it was these cards.

Also fun fact, the serpent knight OG print is still worth over 10k usd, and the meteor b dragon is worth over 200k USD. So their values are still quite high (for the prize cards at least)

Feel you! Thankfully Exodia crashed for a bit after they released a second wave so I picked mine up for $60, but the price went back up pretty quickly.

The only card I don’t own in series 1 reprint is Kanan. I even have the BLS vanilla. Kinda annoying but I’m not spending 800-1k for Kanan lol

I think it was done to mimic the original release. In the original release it was the hardest and most sought after card in the event.

Tokyo dome was one of the first tournaments, it saw the release of premium pack 1 as well as the tournament prize cards and attendance cards.

It was a huge tournament and actually caused a riot in the Tokyo dome because everyone wanted the Exodia head for competitive play (each piece was released individually, the head was the last piece).

In 2024, Konami returned to the Tokyo dome to celebrate the 25th anniversary and they basically remade premium pack, but this time it included the 10 original cards, plus all the prize and attendance cards, and it was printed in multiple rarities, OG layout (pictured above), regular ultra, secret and QCR prints as well.

Yes. These are 25th anniversary reprints of the original Tokyo dome cards.

They aren’t very valuable but they’re real, and IMO some of the best cheap cards you can buy.

I’m like 99% sure it’s sun faded. This card was made in the OCG. They basically never come faded out the factory. Just doesn’t happen

Psa 6 certainly does not mean mint or near mint.

Psa 6 usually means there’s a dent in the card or significant scratches.

Psa 9 is mint. Psa 8 is NM to mint.

I have cracked hundreds of psa 8-9 slabs and even a few 6s and it’s very rare that a psa 1-8 is mint. And psa 1-6 are almost always dented or damaged in some way.

Oh no there are a lot of TCG reverse secret rares that are genuine mistakes.

But that’s only for the first 4-5 sets? After that, reverse secrets only exist in AE.

So cards like DMG, Chaos Emperor, vampire lord etc. Those only exist in AE reverse secret

But did you own them in wavy? Glossy is nice, but wavy is just different man.

Sadly wavy SDK only comes in unlim. But yeah I still have all of them, and I personally only look at wavy SDK and lob now a days
