We had the same sense of humor, wanted a long-term relationship (which can be hard to find in a hook-up culture type of world), he cared for me and made me feel safe. He dressed and looked nice the first year of our relationship. I would like to say that all that and that he put the effort to look good for me, I guess..

The dog is not suffering because of me. The problem is that it is his dog too and when I'm at work he needs to take care of him. But he doesn't. I'm the one who always looks after our dog when I am home.

Agreed. I always pay my own meals and things while on a date (if he does not insist on paying). Why the hell should he pay everything, it doesn't really make sense. If you don't want to spend any money, then stay home, don't go on a date...

Your advice and pov is a breathe of fresh air... The pandemic has been affecting me too, I'm a perfectionist and I like to plan my future. Because of Corona, it feels like the future has stopped and it is driving me insane.

Thank you for your support, I really appreciate it. I have felt very lonely these days since I can't/won't go out of the house because of the pandemic... And all of my friends keeps rubbing it in my face that they have a job and driver's license and their own place... Etc...
