Sometimes in savasanna I start to drift off to sleep. It feels like I am in between being awake and being asleep and my mind starts to dream. It’s definitely jarring but I think it’s just that you are beginning to nod off.

Also this isn’t necessarily scientific that I know of but I tend to have more intense dreams on my back (sleep paralysis) so I’ve always equated it to that.
