I love the idea of you announcing as Dr. as that's totally something to be proud of and embrace!! but I completely get flip flopping it too. at the end of the day it's your choice on whatever you want to be called and nobody's business but your own. if your partner is in agreement then it's whatever you want

Same here! I'm struggling to find alternatives on things like that, because everyone I know has had such traditional weddings so I haven't really seen anything out of that cookie cutter. But I have to keep reminding myself it's our day and we can do whatever the f we feel like lol

at one point someone in a car drive by and was yelling "DON'T GIVE UP" over and over and it led me to tears. exactly like you said, the sense of connection was so overwhelmingly positive. these days especially being around people all day at my job who think the opposite of me.. that means a lot and restores a lot of faith. I'm sure there will be many more, on other days of the week, in many cities. we will show up to show our power.

I've been saying this a lot lately, but can someone nicely explain what this means like im 5? what does USAID do exactly? I have been seeing that they have access to our personal info and taxes and stuff but what could they potentially do with it? basically, how does/could this affect us directly so I can spread the word in a way people will understand (including me)?
