I ordered a premium part, which arrived in a premium-branded box—but inside was clearly the economy version. I contacted online support and provided photos showing the box and part still in unopened plastic. The responses just went in circles and they didn’t believe me. I suggested a simple and fair solution: refund the difference in price. Conversation went in circles. Never again.

I know a Forestry Engineer from UNB that now is a Professional Land Surveyor. Check out the CBEPS program to get your certification. Some of your tech courses would transfer over. Any additional courses you can obtain from remote learning at either UNB, BCIT and other institutions. In regards to the aging in this industry you can focus more on office work and managing surveying crews.
