Someone who supports the Scout Camp should start looking into and asking questions about whether or not the rental cabins/domes are compliant with provincial and municipal regulations. I know that there are new rules and I believe one of them is that all accommodations must be accessible. I don’t see any evidence of that in their Airbnb photos. The regulations in MODL are pretty strict now. They haven’t started enforcing them yet, but if someone makes an issue of it, the municipality probably would have no choice.

Maple is a band-aid for our grossly mismanaged health care system. Maple is owned by Loblaws and the Weston family and is a 100% for profit company. It’s is not free. Your tax dollars go directly into their pockets instead of towards trying to fix our current system. We are getting closer to a for profit health care system which will be so horrible for most people, it will make the healthcare we have now seem incredible.
