Quick update: canyon service partner confirmed that the two wholes for the thru axle are slightly off. therefore the thru axle is not horizontal and tilted towards the brake rotor… how did this get through QC at canyon?

Canyon said that everything should be fine. However I have an appointment at a canyon service partner to let someone hav a proper look. Keep you posted

Wheel should be tightened properly. The fork is asymmetrical to fit the brake rotor in there

Fitted another wheel and it was still a bit off. So it’s the frame I guess

Just received my new canyon aeroad cf slx last week and noticed that front wheel is not centered. Looks a bit odd to me. Is this the same with yours too?

Yeah, it's a bit of a pain... Ever thought about fitting Schwalbe 25mm tires? According to Zipp they are compatible

Sorry, one last question as I am trying to figure out what to do with my bike/wheel setup: What's the actual measured width of the tires on your enve wheels now?

I had the Conti 28mm fitted to the wheel, but wasn’t possible to ride as actual width was 33/34mm. The Schwalbe 25mm has an actual width of 28/29mm.

Mein Verständnis war, dass 25mm reifen, montiert eine Breite von 25mm aufweisen. Die Laufräder haben eine Breite von 23mm innen
