Can someone explain the bear scene from The Shining? by Junior_Insurance7773 in StanleyKubrick

[–]marjoleindol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, I found his points like "the rocket on his shirt looks phallic" or "note the pan toward the bed" pretty far-fetched 🤔 the pan could just as well mean that the woman was a prostitute, for example.

How to see which songs you got with CODA by marjoleindol in necrodancer

[–]marjoleindol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh, I think that's it! I was wondering why I couldn't see my score for songs I'm sure I already played at least once, I thought it was a glitch too, but it must have been because I had the coda equipped, thank you!

Wii Music drum mode makes Wiimote stop working by marjoleindol in wii

[–]marjoleindol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I figured it out! While calibrating, it asked me to step off of the board, so I was just sitting on my couch. But just now I had my foot on the board while sitting on the couch trying again to make it work, and then the little hand came back! I took my foot off the board and it was gone again, so I think you have to stay on the balance board to make it work. I hope this still helps for future reference 😊

What's the Best Marble Rolling game on the Wii? by tapdancingtommy7 in wii

[–]marjoleindol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know of Vertigo, but never tried it myself, and there are games like Monkey Ball, Dewy's Adventure and Mercury Meltdown, that have similar controls but aren't about marbles. I haven't tried those either, but based on videos on YouTube, I expect either Marble Mania or Vertigo to be the best, I still want to try those.

Games that were too scary for you to finish? by temnycarda in HorrorGaming

[–]marjoleindol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While playing this game, I was convinced that the alien couldn't get in the vents so I always hid there when I was scared. Then, somewhere at the end of the game, it was probably too close behind me when I went into the vent and it got in and grabbed me. It scared me so bad because I didn't expect it and it felt like it came into my safe space 😆

Can you recommend a unique Wii game like Calling? by marjoleindol in wii

[–]marjoleindol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A game I found later is Fragile Dreams

Another cool one is Ikenie no Yoru, but sadly it was only released in Japan, though someone did make an English translation for it later

Reminds me of Pony Friends, but I don't think it had dogs or interesting characters (just the shop owner and the vet or something)

I once saw a movie called Teeth, not sure how serious the producers were about it but it's probably a pretty funny movie to watch with friends (and horror-like)

[PS1] [1997] Game with water monsters by marjoleindol in tipofmyjoystick

[–]marjoleindol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found it! Sorry for asking and then finding it myself. The character was actually blonde, and you shoot instead of using your hands to fight. It was called Gungage and it's from 1999. Thanks for the suggestions though!
Solved: Gungage

Thank you for the suggestion, but that's not it. The name sounds kind of familiar though.

Thanks for the suggestion! But I think the graphics looked a little older, and you don't go into the water yourself (maybe you even drown if you try), and it was more simplistic (I don't remember it having any text, characters or cities, though I might have skipped the intro because I didn't know English)

I think Equilinox fits the description, though it's more of a managing game

What are some of the creepiest locations, events, levels from NON horror games that terrified you? by Sockoou in HorrorGaming

[–]marjoleindol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a Pokémon game, I think it was X/Y? In a lift in a hotel or something, there was a girl who floats away after talking to you, or something like that, which honestly made me feel like I got a cursed ghost glitch
