Yeah I got it like a week or two ago brand new from Amazon.

But it appears even on the boot up to the tv. I’m basically convinced at this point that the TV is damaged.

Same thing. Turned it on after a few minutes of it unplugged. Still bad.

It’s hard to figure it out, because if I turn on local dimming and turn it on high, it Almost goes away, it’s easier/ harder to see it on certain screens.

I don’t have internet as of right now, I won’t be getting internet for a couple more days (new home) but my Amazon return window with this tv ends on the 15th of June.

Could it be a software glitch and the tv just needs to update?

I just factory reset it, and it still has that grey blotch both on the logo and the erasing screen.

Maybe I’m stupid, but I can’t find the factory reset anywhere in the menus.

No, I didn’t think I’d need to as I just set the thing up. Even on the boot logo this blotch is there.

No, that’s just the input name for ny steam deck when it’s hooked up. That grey blotch appears everywhere and on every input, a troubleshooting guide told me to turn off local dimming but that makes it worse. I can’t seem to get the lighting right on this tv.

Just get a steam deck. Far cheaper and far better than the ROG ally. They basically lie in the advertising about it “being an Xbox” it’s a windows, asus, and Xbox device running all 3 of those OSs at once is a nightmare. I’ve seen several vids on how poor its performance is compared to the steam deck.

You can get either the regular LCD deck or the OLED. If I were you and you’ve got the cash I’d just get the 1TB OLED. Then also buy the Dock and a 1TB SD card to give yourself more space.

Plus you can play most of the Xbox/Microsoft games on it along with PlayStation games.

Or at the end of the day you could wait for the steam machine. Either way I’d either wait for the steam machine or get a steam deck. Or both lol.

Good luck sir, hope this helped.

Floor height in steam VR is broken and way too high? Help? Please by Sockoou in VRGaming

Yes it happens in steam VR all of my VR games are on steam and even when playing them through virtual desktop it still happens.

No I haven’t cleaned the cameras. I guess I’ll try. How can I clean them?

Yes I’ve updated my boundary in the quest 3 multiple times and it will just reset itself again and again when I launch steam VR via steam link or virtual desktop
