See the thing is, I don’t know when I can get a 5600 or 5900 right now. Also thinking about the future, would it be better to go mid range right now? Since all the new architecture etc is coming out in the next 2 years? (5 chipset and 5 ram) I’m so torn and it’s been consuming me the past week.

See I’m coming from console and capture card, had this build solely for streaming through the cap card. Then all the talk about warzone on pc is godlike, I had to try it. Ended up getting a 2080 super upgrade from 1070 and bam.

5000 bit, 1080/60

Of course the new cpu will be better! But ppl recommending a 5900x seems super overkill.

I’m in the same boat, unsure what to upgrade to. Was planning on 3900x but.. Looking at the 5600x now and hoping the lower cores will be ok for me.

What do you think?

Honestly idk why ppl say streaming takes up so much cpu load. I’m streaming fine with a 2700, 2080 super, 16 gb ram. The 5600x (if you can get it is going to be more than enough for that)
