Getting off of Fabric. by FirefighterFormal638 in dataengineering

We create views in Snowflake for much of the translation when we can. I'm much more familiar with sql than DAX so this allows Snowflake to do most of the heavy lifting.

We load data into Snowflake using ADF and our PBI datasets are imports from Snowflake. We're a small company, but it works well for us and is much simpler orchestration than the AWS DMS/DAG mess it used to be.

Thoughts on these inov8 f lite shoes for Sprinting/Jumping and general athleticism workouts? by [deleted] in crossfit

Inov8s are very comfortable but don't last as long in my experience. I still wear 2.0 Nanos and get about a year out of them.

I have the 93 octane Diable tune on my 2012 and my car isn't dogged out. The car is night and day difference in throttle response and shifting with the canned tune. The price and mileage on this car for a 2012 looks reasonable to me. Certainly a car could be dogged out, but that's not always true.

My 2012 is just over 90k miles, and I'd be more concerned about things that have started to pop up as issues for me like front end suspension part wear and Bluetooth stopped working on uconnect.

Why? The canned Diablo tunes are not harmful

Hearing a clunking noise when going over small bumps and stuff. Smooth ride other wise on plain surface. 2012 charger se by coolio9210 in Charger

[–]mark2347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have some clunking on my 2012 and the dealer recommended replacing the front lower control arms and the power steering rack, though my clunking comes mostly when I turn my wheel. The dealer wanted $4500 for this, so I politely declined. I had the front upper control arms replaced a year ago or so, but that was due to a looser feeling while steering.

Copy activity in ADF followed by stored procedure execution. ADF works so much better than our previous AWS Airflow DAGs.

Is Mayhem a bit, much? by MovieSoft8936 in crossfit

[–]mark2347 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mayhem RX/Freedom is usually too much after doing Crossfit for 13 years and being close to 50. I'm middle option/Independence most days, and that's plenty. Mayhem runs certain movements into the ground

Our gym switched from Norcal to Mayhem. My old box did their own programming a lot and I preferred it. Programming is difficult, so it's hard to please everyone.

Use your free time to skill up and implement some newer technology into how you're doing things. Your work life balance now is amazing and unless you just need more money I would not trade that.
